The village of Osadné is the easternmost point of the European Union. Peter Soroka, a local Orthodox priest, has performed 50 funeral ceremonies over the last 5 years but baptised only 2 children. Commune Head Ladislav Mikuláško is a lay counterpart of Soroka, a big fish and political record breaker, who has been in the office for 36 years. The two unique local patriots decide to take the future of Osadné in their own hands and ask the highest authorities for help, in cooperation with activist Fedor Vico.
