The foundation of the film is three meticulously braided stories, told at random, albeit coherently. The protagonists are a 24-year-old kindergarten teacher, who after hours transforms into a prostitute; a bearish poet with an inseparable bottler of whisky under his arm; and a young banking expert with great ambitions — all of them meet at the crossroads of their lives. Together, they will make a few spins along that crossroads, looking for the best possible exit. Baldvin Zophoníasson is one of the most distinctive modern filmmakers from Iceland, and in his film he has put the greatest emphasis on the paths that led all the three protagonist to meet at the metaphorical crossroads. The use of a very discreet, atmospheric, and specific soundtrack perfectly matches this story about the things that are most important in life.
