Marta, 42, is a star acting in popular television films. She is a strong and dominant person, but the popularity and money did not help her to find happiness in life. Kasia, her younger sister, is trapped in a less than ideal marriage, raising a teenage boy. The sisters cannot find a common language, and do not even bother to understand the individual choices the other makes. When they lose one of their parents to an illness, they are finally forced to act together. They start to reconnect slowly, which leads to a series of tragicomic events.
