Teenager Finn and his younger brother Charlie run away from home, so they can stay together after their parents broke up. Their destination is the wild western coast of Ireland where their beloved grandpa John lives. To them, it is the last safe haven in a world that is falling apart. They face 500 miles of a complicated journey that will require them to be both witty and charming. They will also need to count on the kindness of strangers, including that of Cáit - a street musician with a free spirit. This is a heart-warming and touching road film, mixing subtle humour with emotional moments. It is more than just a story about a journey - it is a sincere story about family, hope, and a need for connection, where all elements fit perfectly together.
