A reporter at a FIFA World Cup, a priest from the slums, a millionaire, a film director, a neurotic intellectual, and a president-elect: all of those figures, and a few others, are portrayed by the brilliant Argentinian actor Guillermo Francella in the sixteen episodes of a satirical series commenting on the dilemmas and contradictions that contemporary people struggle with. The film also tackles the absurdities and hypocrisy of the middle and high classes, but also the relations between people, their weaknesses and desires. The film from the authors of ‘The Distinguished Citizen’ is another bitter-sweet diagnosis of the social relations and the challenges presented by the world of today. Their latest work is a very accurate and all-round portrayal of the human species: you will find counterparts of each protagonist in the film in every corner of the world.
