Efisio Mulas, a shepherd living his simple life on the coast of southern Sardinia, is forced to confront a ruthless housing developer, who wants to turn his house and land into a luxurious resort. With investments worth of millions and the promise of new jobs for the local community, a small-scale conflict turns into a feud fuelled by emotions and absurdity. In the very centre of it all is Francesca, the shepherd’s daughter, torn between the promise of changes and family bonds. Inspired by true events, the film is an uplifting story about one’s roots, courage, and the right to live in accordance with your own principles.
