Ernesta and her sister Justė take their husbands and children for a weekend trip to a local lake. The idyllic relaxation is interrupted by a tragic accident, when Justė’s daughter falls into the lake and cannot make it back to the shore. The film fragments the accident into a series of detailed retrospections, as we see the family trying to cope with the trauma and keep on living.
