No Ghosts on Good Street
Nie ma duchów w mieszkaniu na Dobrej
Four siblings who are about to become adults struggle to find their own paths in life and make sure they do not lose their unique bond in the process. Benek, the youngest of them all, confronts the pain of rejection from his elder brother Franek, who used to be his closest friend. The young boy is now haunted by Dusiołek, a mysterious ghost, who brings insomnia and panic attacks. Franek distances himself from the family and gets mixed up in a toxic relationship fuelled by drug addiction, which only brings about more chaos. This makes Nastka, his twin sister, very worried, although she herself is struggling to find love and stability. Jana, the eldest of them all, works on an art project and at the same tries to find some comfort for all of them, including herself. The film ‘Nie ma duchów w mieszkaniu na Dobrej / No Ghosts on Good Street’ is a touching story about growing up, family bonds, and emotional cracks, in which reality gets mixed up with metaphors and inner anxiety.

A film director and screenwriter, born in 1991. She is a graduate of the Film and TV Direction Department of the Film School in Lodz, and the Dok Pro documentary course at Wajda School. She is the author of award-winning short films, including ‘Nauka / Education,’ ‘Heimat,’ ‘Piękna łąka kwietna / A Beautiful Wildflower Meadow’ (2022), and ‘Echo’ (2023), which were screened at various film festivals.
