Zoran works the night shift on a reality show, monitoring participants' sleep across fifty screens. One morning, his already shallow sleep is interrupted by a phone call from his estranged father Vesa, who has cancer. Together they navigate the institutional chaos of the public and private healthcare systems, but Zoran refuses to accept the truth — that his father is dying. Instead, he redirects his emotions toward his neglected love life, entangling himself in two equally impossible romances. When both adventures end in disaster and Vesa's condition worsens considerably, Zoran finally begins to reconcile with the inevitable. He takes his father on a seemingly pointless journey to a monastery, where Vesa wants to confess for the first time in his life.
