Once inseparable friends, Julia and Weronika have not been in contact for three years. When they meet again, the occasion is the funeral of Karolina. Her unexpected death becomes a pretext to start a journey marked by numerous twists. What was shaping up to be a brief encounter, soon transforms into a series of both unfortunate and funny events, forcing the former friends to confront the past, their emotions, and difficult life choices. Served as a light comedy-drama, the film portrays their journey together as path marked by twists of fate, sudden complications and disagreements, where old grudges get mixed up with humour and absurdity of everyday life. Each of them chose a different path in life, and they now need to decide, whether they have the courage to be friends again. There are also other difficult choices to be made. The film is both a light comedy and a profound drama, exploring a search for one’s identity and the consequences of decisions that can often open doors to the unknown. Will they be able to rediscover a common language and rebuild the old bond, despite the obstacles and the years of separation?
