Mihai Mincan

A film director and screenwriter from Romania, formerly a journalist and director of documentaries. His début was the feature film ‘Spre nord (To the North)’ screened at international film festivals and noticed for its minimalistic form and socially-engaged attitude. His films show a keen eye for reality and the ability to build psychological tension, often dealing with migration, isolation, and contemporary social crises.
