The meeting with Piotr Głowacki and Dawid Janicki will explore the shared journey of an actor and a producer that began during their secondary school years in Toruń – from the city’s film discussion club and their first conversations about cinema to the films they continue to make together today. The discussion will focus on their collaboration on Broad Peak and the currently produced feature film Adam, dedicated to Adam Małysz. Piotr Głowacki appears in the film in one of the roles, while Dawid Janicki serves as producer through East Studio. The conversation will offer insights into filmmaking from both the actor’s and producer’s perspectives and discuss the creative process behind a film that is currently in post-production. The event will be moderated by Jarosław Jaworski.
The event will also feature a preview screening of the teaser for Adam, directed by Tomek Matuszczak, whose theatrical release is planned for 2027.
