It is 1939. The world has plunged into chaos. Thousands of prominent Poles end up in Russian captivity, where they are being indoctrinated, as part of a higher scheme. Driven by ambition, an enemy agent wishes to break one of the prisoners, a world famous pianist, greatly respected by his fellow prisoners. If he surrenders, others may follow and join with the Russians. This begins a vicious game of manipulations, threats, and false promises. Each of the prisoners must face a desperate decision the consequences of which can mean both life and death. The former brothers in arms now have a dilemma to solve: should they attempt an escape and risk death, or be at the mercy of the enemy?
