I Understand Your Displeasure
Heike works as a facility manager for a cleaning company. Every day, she visits clothes shops, kindergartens and care homes to make sure her team do their job. She can grab a mop here and there, if it is needed. Her main job is to act as a go-between for customers, company’s management, and employees. When she tries to hire an employee working for one of their important subcontractors, they threaten to end their cooperation… unless they get more working hours and a bigger portion of the income. Trying desperately to satisfy the demands, Heike finds herself conflicted about the loyalty for her own team and the ruthless reality of the labour market for low-wage workers.
