Daniel didn't hear his sixteen-year-old son Chris slip out of the house that early morning. He doesn't know what drew him to a bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw — only that it was the last place he was seen. A CCTV camera caught him there, and then, between turns, the boy vanished. Two possibilities remain: he jumped into the river, or managed to leave the bridge unseen. Since that moment, Daniel and his wife Agnieszka have lived suspended between desperate hope and paralyzing fear. Unable to wait passively for a breakthrough in the investigation, Daniel builds his own boat equipped with cameras and drones and begins scouring the river alone, day after day. Soon, other families — trapped in a similar limbo — begin to reach out. The long, solitary hours on the water become a reckoning, pushing Daniel to reexamine the life he lived before Chris disappeared.
