It is a known fact that a dog is a man’s best friend. And who might be a dog’s best friend? Bailey, the four-legged protagonist in the story has no doubts about that: his life is fulfilled only when a certain boy named Ethan is around. When both are just puppies, all they do is fool around. When they grow up, Ethan prefers chasing girls to chasing a ball, and sometimes he gets into fights ― if that is the case, you need to bite his enemies’ ankles. And Ethan breaks a window, somebody must take the blame. So, Bailey is a happy dog, because he wants to feel needed, just as every other dog. But there comes a moment, when both friends must part ways, and life is no longer dealing kindly with Ethan...
