Maudźi is a straightforward boy, who wants to live an honest life in his village, together with his wife Mamta. Tired of constant humiliating, he starts working as a tailor. He goes deeper into the subject of Indian handicraft products and learns about the life of local artisans, who are hired by big companies. As a result, he decides to fight for recognition for the traditional handicraft products and respect for the “Made in India” label. Sui Dhaaga: Made in India is a story about respect and pride of one’s own origin, both of which lie deep in the heart of all people in India.
