Based on autobiographical events, it is a film about change in life, which is brought by the death of parents and the death of feelings between partners. Julia is a successful photographer in her thirties. She lives in a wealthy intelligentsia family. Her husband Piotr is an appreciated composer, mother Basia is a recognized author of criminals, and her father Jurek is a filmmaker. Suddenly, their happy living comes to an end. Doctors diagnose Julia’s mother with stomach cancer. The disease changes the life of the whole family. There comes a time of revision of all life’s attitudes.
