Ewa becomes pregnant by accident. Her family talks her into performing abortion. When visiting a doctor, she learns that human foetus in a woman’s belly is able to hear. This information makes a great impression on her, and she starts to believe that the baby in her belly hears every word she says. She changes her mind, leaves the doctor’s office and starts to familiarise with the idea of becoming a parent. She starts talking to her unborn child, initially timidly, but her confidence grows with time. She tries to describe the world to her child, using sounds and words, as if she was learning it all anew herself. She tells her child about both good and bad things that can happen to people. She also talks about love and teaches the child how to love. More than that, she plays music and lets the child experience fear, as it will make life easier, once he or she is born.
