Malta prizes worth
With the recently completed Valletta Film Festival will arrive two awards for the creators of the movie "United States of Love". Tomasz Wasilewski won best director award and Dorota Kolak - best actress award. Tomek Wasilewski has won a special award of our festival - Flisak (The Rafter) Tofifest.
The world premiere of the movie "United States of Love" was held within the framework of the Main Competition 66th Berlinale. Tomasz has received there the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay.
We hited Americans by "Supernova"
Beautiful news also from the USA. Andrzej Cichocki for his "Supernova" won the audience award at the Sci-On! Film Festival in Reno, Nevada.
Konin conquered!
From the oldest Polish film festival, 62nd. OKFA, the Grand Prix brought short movie "Race" ("Wyścig") by Stanislaw Cuske. He beat 53 competitors. Among them short film, "When I will have to leave this world" directed by Mateusz Buława, also BKF member, who received III award. Let us note the sake of accuracy, that "Race" was made as part Of Andrzej Wajda Film School.
