Chopin’s Szafarnia

Szafarnia Chopina · dir. Ryszard Kruk
Poland 2010, 15’

Ryszard Kruk is once again an author of document, which shows the beauty of Kujawsko-Pomorskie. After he made Toruń – gothic jewel and St. John’s Cathedral, now tells about a residence Szafarnia near to Golub Dobrzyń, where Friderick Chopin used to spend his time as a child. Although multitude of informations for tourists, a script is pretty unique. It happens because of a narration by young pianist, similiar to Chopin. Because of this young musician we may understand, what Chopin felt in this place as a boy.
