Inferno

Document. In 1964, after a decade of success, Henri-Georges Clouzot decided to make a film redefining the borders of cinema. A screenplay about a man obsessively jealous of his young wife (Romy Schneider) was created. The director cooperated with op-art style artists who worked on special effects. When the shots were moved outdoor, he started loosing control over the film and came into conflict with the crew. Eventually he was taken by an ambulance with a diagnosis of heart attack. Found after 50 years, the unfinished film is impressive: a feerie of colours that brings to mind drug experiments, sultry atmosphere due to unbridled eroticism...
