Patty Diphusa, a porn star, comes to Warsaw. A man of her dreams is supposed to be waiting for her at the Warsaw Central Railway Station. Unfortunately, the man does not show up. Lost in a city she does not know, Patty decides to call Pedro Almódovar... Telefono is the first ever Polish film with guest appearance of the famous film director Pedro Almodóvar. Well, what makes a guest appearance is his voice, to be exact. Patty is one of the most recognisable film creations of Pedro Almodóvar. Ewa Kasprzyk, who portrays her on screen, performed a monodrama about Patty, for many years.
