Kārlis Vītols was born in 1979 in Riga. He is painter and animator. In 2001 he obtained a Master’s degree by graduating from the Graphic Arts Department and in 2003 he obtained a Master’s degree from the Department of Painting at the Arts Academy of Latvia.
