In the hopelessness of 1980s, the protagonists in the film create a cult of “motór”, which was an effort to make an “anti-myth”, regarding the WSK motorcycle, which was a synonym of country “bumpkins” and small-town mentality.
Motór is a full-length auteur film by Wiesław Paluch, presented as a road movie. Paluch is a theatre expert and director, who was born in Biłgoraj. He has always wanted to make a film set in the town where he grew up and being a farewell to the director’s youth.
