What must one do to accomplish their desired goals? How much of sacrifice and humiliation does it take? The film is an illustration the humiliation experienced by people following their dreams. The main protagonist is Olgierd, who dreams of becoming a professional dancer. He spends his entire free time on training and developing skills. He also works in a local bar to earn the money that would let him study at the dream dancing school. Waleria wants to be a poet, but it takes more, than just talent, passion and laborious learning to publish a book. One needs money. Waleria becomes a prostitute to get it, as quickly as possible.
